Psychedelic Adventures: Coron, Palawan in Pictures

It's funny how my blog can't seem to catch up with my (mis)adventures. I still haven't finished writing about my Day 2 and 3 in Coron last April, and here's another post about Bohol already lined up! I don't want to write a lengthy entry about Coron again, so here's a few more photos from that trip.

Smorgasbord of colors at the Coron Public Market. Fresh fruits and veggies, anyone?

Amazing blue fish at the wet market! I just had to take a picture.

Do you remember him? It's Kuya Danny!

On our way to Barracuda Lake. More turquoise waters and amazing rocks await!

Before the plunge! Cheerleader lang ang peg! Hahaha

The Coron Gang ready to snorkel at Siete Pecados Diving Site

Obviously, I never get tired of taking pictures of the bangka (boat). Those rock formations are a sight to behold!

Banol Beach, where we had a fantastic lunch and got to sleep on the wooden benches under the nipa hut.

On our third day, Jim and I explored the Coron Town proper by foot. We didn't have an itinerary in mind, so we wandered the streets near our inn. I love traveling with Jim because of he also likes spontaneity and we both enjoy chancing upon different people and places as we explore the area.
Municipal Hall of Coron

Just right past the Municipal Hall, we saw a sweet lady cleaning the street. She had such a sheepish smile when Jim asked if he can have a picture with her.

In the afternoon, we decided to climb the steps of Mt. Tapyas because it was on the optional stop on our itinerary the day before. 700 steps seemed intimidating, but it actually wasn't so bad!

No, I take it back. It was bad. I was panting by the 300th step! It was a pata killer!

Mt. Tapyas Cross towering over the boy!

View from the top! Spell pawis! Haha.

A gazebo on top of the mountain!

Chris, the Swede we met while resting atop Mt. Tapyas. He was alone during this trip and it was his first time in Coron. He's been to the Philippines before and I'm happy that he had so many nice things to say about our country. He loved not only the islands, but the people as well.

Chasing the sunset. I said a little prayer and thanked God for this trip. It was an amazing experience :)
